During the live event held to commemorate TRON’s Independence Day in June, Founder Justin Sun talked about TRON Virtual Machine (TVM) on July 30, along with the new project announcement.
While many in the TRON community positively welcomed Sun’s acquisition of BitTorrent, it has integrated over 100 million users into TRX Main Net, noting that this happened ahead of the July 30 announcement.
TRON Corporation made a statement on the currency update, revealing details about the Main Net and Atlas, a program designed to improve the current framework of cryptocurrencies.

Tron founder Justin Sun claims they will be a better cryptocurrency than Ethereum at every turn.
While details about the project are scarce, Sun stated on Twitter that the BitTorrent merger of the new TRON protocol will enable “a great future for both.” In an open letter, TRON Virtual Machine states that the acquisition of BitTorrent will help TRON grow exponentially in the cryptocurrency space.

Details are still insufficient, but it seems that this improvement in network efficiency, which Atlas will probably reveal, is related to the improvement of the torrent function on the platform.
