Historic decision from Volvo: It will produce only electric vehicles

Swedish Volvo, which produces trucks, buses, automobiles, construction equipment, marine engines and industrial engines, announced that it aims to keep up with the rapidly developing automotive industry. In this context, it was stated that the automotive giant will focus on the rapidly growing electric car market and will gradually stop producing fossil fuel engines, and it has been noted that by 2030, all of the company’s cars will be electric.

The vehicles will only be sold online

Aiming to keep up with the rapidly developing electric vehicle market, the company stated that vehicles planned to be fully electric can only be sold online. Volvo, owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, headquartered in Hangzhou, aims to have all-electric cars and other mild-hybrid models for 50 percent of its global sales by 2025.
