Speaking to VentureBeat on the subject, Nvidia’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said:
“Digital currencies and blockchain will be permanent. It will grow a lot over time.. It is very clear that new currencies will appear on the market.. It is obvious how efficient graphics cards are in cryptography.”
The company’s CFO, Colette Kress, stated that the price increase in digital currencies resulted in an increased demand for graphics cards as well.
