Dan Morehead, CEO of $1 billion crypto hedge fund Pantera Capital, said in an interview with Bloomberg that he predicts Bitcoin will reach new heights in 12 months.
Morehead, “Digital token As coins continue to proliferate and gain wider use, the $400 billion cryptocurrency market could grow to $4 trillion, and even $40 trillion is certainly possible.” He said, “This is a 10-year forecast, it won’t happen overnight.” He added.
Morehead also stated that the interest of institutional investors in tokens increased, and that crypto was considered ‘disgusting’ in the early days. And today, only 10 percent of the hedge fund’s limited partners are institutions, but that’s likely to change in the next 18 months. He also pointed out that he has increased interest in getting more involved.
